Gluten Free Cream Scones

A couple weeks ago I woke up with the biggest craving for scones. Kind of random because I’ve probably bought about 3 scones in my life. I’ve had a few that were amazing because they were homemade, but for the most part they’re kind of a let down.
I searched the internet for a good recipe, and came across this one which looked pretty simple and delicious. Both were true- they were super easy (and quick!) and all my taste testers agreed they were just as good -actually better- than regular scones.
I ended up making a few batches, each time changing what I put in them. I used dried currants in the first batch (photographed), but also made them with blueberries, which I think were my favorite. My point is- get creative. Savory scones are up next in my kitchen… bacon+chive? caramelized onion+goat cheese? Decisions, decisions.

these go perfectly paired with some creme fraiche and jam (the picture with jam didn’t look as pretty, but trust me, they were a match made in heaven)

These look delicious!! For the gluten-free flour did you use “Jeanne’s Gluten….or Just regular Gluten-free
flour? Also did you add the grated lime zest?
