I’ve been meaning to post about my trip back home to Vancouver this week, but haven’t yet as I’m waiting for some pictures that were on someone else’s camera. So we’re skipping ahead to L A and I’ll post about my Canadian adventures soon. Speaking of adventures, I had a little downtown Los Angeles exploration this week that was pretty fun…
One of my favorite new bands He’s My Brother She’s My Sister were playing a free show Friday afternoon, so me and a couple friends went to see them and then proceeded to go on an impromptu food+drink “tour”. I took photos at most of the places we visited (Water Grill, Bäco Mercat, Spring St.…), but the best ones turned out at Bottega Louie. This restaurant is a dream to take photos in because of all the beautiful things to look at, gorgeous decor, and huge windows that allow natural light to flood the 10,000 square foot space. While the food isn’t mind blowing at Bottega Louie, a highly recommend stopping here in the afternoon for a little cocktail and treat… or two.

Apologies for the post hiatus. I went on a little trip (cousin got hitched!) and decided to stay off the computer as much as possible. Sometimes you just need to disconnect. That being said, expect some pictures/stories from my adventures back to the homeland this week…

What clothes I pack obviously vary from trip to trip, but here are some of my must have travel essentials…
OPI Lincoln Park After Dark, Josie Maran SPF 40+, Melatonin, Kiss My Face Toothpaste, Annick Goutal Eau D’Hadrien, Sephora Makeup Wipes, Anne Marie Borlind ZZ Sensitive Day Cream, Eye Drops, Fresh Sugar Plum Balm… and some Ray Bans and a vintage scarf should you have to shield your face/hair after a nasty flight.
