Betsy

Betsy is my Buddha’s Hand Lemon Tree. I’ve had her for about three months and she’s already growing her first lemon! The guy at the nursery told me it would take a good year or two to get fruit, but at this rate I think we might be in business sooner. Pretty exciting since she’s the first plant I’ve managed to keep alive longer than a week. If my dad reads this, he’ll be laughing as he remembers my epic fail at gardening for a psychology project back in college- apparently I was not yet fit for plant parenthood. But alas, I’ve grown up and gained some perennial responsibility- Betsy is here to stay.
